Meet Your Host
Hi! Iām Nallieli Santamaria, and I started the Garden of Becoming out of a deep curiosity about what makes it possible for a human being to feel truly at home in themselves, feel worthy of what they want, have the courage to pursue it, and ultimately bring their gifts into the world.
I have long been pained by the gap between what we can sense is possible for us and what we are actually able to embody. We can want something badly, do our best, and yet old patterns, emotional responses, beliefs about ourselves, and ways of relating can limit our capacity to create, receive, and sustain what we desire.
In search of tools to help, I invite somatic practitioners, therapists, artists, scientists, and spiritual teachers to join me in exploring the nervous system and trauma, desire and self-worth, voice and language, relationships, money, power, pleasure, creativity, and the stories we inherit about who we are allowed to be.
Most importantly, I want the podcast to be useful. Each episode offers a practice, perspective, or experiment listeners can take into their own lives.
The podcast is my contribution to a vision I care deeply about: a more loving world in which more people have the courage and inner resources to become more fully alive and bring their gifts into the world.
