Letters to Time
For years, I’ve had an anxious relationship with time. I’ve worried about running out of time, wasting it, falling behind, not doing enough, not reaching my full potential as I beautifully imagine it. And despite knowing that this way of relating to time wasn’t helping me, it was difficult to consistently do things differently.
Inspired by Sarah McCrum’s conversations with money, which became her book Love Money, Money Loves You, I decided to write letters to Time.
Every day, I ask Time questions about my life—about love and longing, desire and fear, creativity and work, relationships and uncertainty, and the question of who I’m becoming—and Time writes back.
